I feel that I needed to comment quickly on this because I feel like I started this whole debate and I know some people are upset/bothered by this. I personally love shopping for people and putting that thought and time in to go get them something creative and something that they would really like, that being said, if we already send out an email to each other with ideas, we are not putting that much thought in by getting them one of the things on the list, it is the same effort/thought as a gift card.
I think it is more fun usually when people list gift ideas other than gift cards (i.e. Therese’s wigs), but I also understand sometimes wanting to have the freedom to go into JCrew or another store and know that you have a giftcard and can make a special purchase with it. So, in conclusion, I think we should all move on…if someone wants a gift card and you have them you can choose whether or not to buy it for them.
Therese’s KK ideas include but are not limited to the following:
shoes i am a size 7 1/2!
a workout ipod arm band holder..whatever you know what i mean!
a hug!
moccasins(fredflare.com or fredflare store in brooklyn have nice ones)!
a goldfish!
circular saw!
a surprise!
